Luxury wedding in Sitges.
This season has just started and I have already been lucky enough to photograph some really amazing weddings. As a wedding photographer in Mallorca, I take care of every detail from the very first moment. Today I want to share a very special experience: the luxury wedding in Sitges of Kendall and Matt, a lovely American couple who celebrated their love after ten years together.
An unforgettable story of american love on the catalan coast
Kendall contacted me last year from Manhattan. She loved my editorial style, emotional and natural, and we immediately connected on a video call. She told me that the wedding would be held in Sitges, near Barcelona, in a spectacular private villa with an infinity pool, surrounded by mountains. There would be 90 guests, all from the United States, and the event promised to be both elegant and intimate.
Since then, we had several video calls to organise all the details. As a wedding photographer, I am involved in every aspect: the decoration, the colours, the dress, the atmosphere… and I knew that this luxury wedding in Sitges would be unique. Kendall would be wearing a stunning dress and Matt, a black dinner jacket with bow tie. Pure elegance.
Pre-wedding in Sitges: Mediterranean light and romance
When the big day arrived we flew to Barcelona and then drove to Sitges. The first thing we did was to go and meet them in person. We drove up to the Villa in the mountains through green forests with spectacular views. They were enjoying a paella with their guests.
That same afternoon we did the pre-wedding session in the streets and beach of Sitges. Kendall wore a flowing silk dress and Matt, a casual but sophisticated look. They are a lovely couple, and their story – from Chicago to New York and now Philadelphia – is as romantic as the wedding they were about to experience.
The big day: sunshine, emotions and elegance
The day of the wedding was sunny. When we arrived at the villa we greeted Anabel, the wedding planner of La Salvaje, who had everything perfectly organised. The ceremony was set up next to the infinity pool, under the palm trees, and the long tables for the banquet were already set up. As a wedding photographer I love this decoration.
In the suite, Kendall finished writing her vows amidst laughter with her mother and bridesmaids. We took some photos of her in her second dress, a short asymmetrical design with glitter, perfect for the party. Matt, meanwhile, was getting ready in another room. Nervous but smiling, he put on his dinner jacket in great style.
Then we went back to Kendall and everyone upstairs. She put on her Saint Bridal Couture dress with the help of her mother. It looked spectacular on her with great style and elegance of her own. They toasted with cava, wishing that everything would start now, it was going to be a great luxury wedding in Sitges.
Luxury wedding in Sitges
We had a first look on the terrace first with her father who couldn’t help but be excited to see her. Then with Matt in the garden downstairs, these moments are always very magical. When they saw each other dressed so elegantly you could see all the complicity, affection and love they have for each other. They had been planning this day with their loved ones for a long time and it had finally arrived.
The ceremony was right in front of the pool. The clouds softened the heat and a nice breeze accompanied the moment. Kendall arrived on her father’s arm and Matt waited excitedly for her. It was a fun, close and loving ceremony. They said ‘I do’ to each other amidst applause and smiles.
Afterwards, at the cocktail party, everyone toasted with Aperol, tasted canapés and ham under the trees of the Cloud 9 Barcelona catering. We took the couple’s photos in the golden light of the sunset, and then the banquet began with an entrance in the purest Spanish style: music, napkins in the air and lots of joy.
The speeches were emotional and sincere. Between toasts, laughter and tears, this luxury wedding in Sitges progressed towards one of the most awaited parts: the party.

The DJ booth was set up right where the ceremony was, now with a magical light. After the bride and groom’s first dance, everyone joined the dance floor. They danced non-stop to the rhythm of saxophone, the Backstreet Boys, the Macarena and many more classics.
This is how this incredible luxury wedding in Sitges ended. Full of love, style and moments that will remain forever. For me, it was an honour to capture every single moment and give Kendall and Matt unique memories of their most special day.
