One of the aspects that I like most as a photographer is the ability to meet all kinds of people. There are people who need to make a book because they aspire professionally to be models. Other times they want it as a very special memory in a given moment. In all cases I get to know the person well because I like to get involved. In this way a connection is created that will later be reflected in better photos.

Sometimes there are sessions that I like to write about because they are special, this has been one of them.

First of all, her guy called me to hire me. He wanted to give Kristina a photo shoot where she looks like she is, great.

He was very excited that his girl was going to have an original gift in which she would get all her beauty reflected. I always explain to them that I like to meet people first to have a coffee and that way in the session later on is not so cold.

As a photographer in Mallorca, I like to get the best out of people and I always say that the most important thing is to get it from the inside out.

On the other hand, taking nice pictures of a girl who is photogenic doesn’t have much merit. But it does establish trust in a very short time and then I can get the best of that person.

Talking to Kristina, we said that there are many women who are very pretty but very little photogenic and vice versa.

One of the things that happens to me very often is that they tell me things like: I’m not photogenic at all, you’re going to have a very difficult time with me, etc…

Then I tell them: Don’t worry, 90% of the people who take pictures with me have never posed. We’re going to spend two hours taking pictures while we talk about  many things that way is very easy.

Normally, people relax after half an hour. That’s when they start to get carried away and their naturalness comes out.

I like photography to be elegant, intimate, natural. On the other hand, I love black and white.

In particular, Kristina didn’t take 10 minutes to let go. You can really appreciate its elegance and beauty easily.

The great thing about photo shoots is that you immediately create an incredible good vibe with the person. I’m very lucky that people trust me and my work.

You can see from the pictures I took of her how much fun Kristina had as I did, we had a great afternoon. When we met back a few days later to give them the pictures, it goes without saying that her boyfriend loved them and they were a great gift. Both ended up very happy with the result.
