As a wedding photographer in Mallorca I always like to get to know my couples very well. I want them to have the best memories of their wedding day and above all I want them to relive those magical moments. This time I had a Korean wedding at Comassema Mallorca.

The couple from the moment I met them I was charmed by them, they love each other madly and are very elegant. Finally we met in person a few months before their wedding. We were agreeing the last details and organizing everything about the photos with Vanesa from Juliets who was going to be their wedding planner. They told me that they really wanted me to be their pre-wedding photographer in Mallorca. They really wanted to do a couple session before the wedding.

So we agreed on a date just a few days before and this way they would have a very nice couple session photos. We agreed to do it in two parts first in one of my favorite hotels in Palma Hotel Can Bordoy Gran House and Garden. Without a doubt it is the elegance made hotel with details and a very careful design respecting the history of the building.

It suited them very well because it partly represented them. The second part I wanted it to be on the beach just at sunset for something more enjoyable and romantic at the same time.

We met at the hotel one afternoon when it was getting cooler in Mallorca. They had brought a bag of clothes with them to do a wardrobe change when we went to the beach. For the hotel they had chosen something elegant and casual at the same time. Maria looked spectacular in a green satin dress and had been made up and groomed by Jose Ojeda and Sergio Quesada. With her hair down and heels she looked great.

I have previously done sessions at Can Bordoy and I love it. I know Michael the owner who is very nice and lets me take pictures inside which is a great honor.

We started on the second floor which has a magical stained glass window. Michael explained to me one day how special each crystal was and I love the atmosphere of that hallway. With the black and white checkered floor I had Maria walk me along it. We had ordered two glasses of cava at the bar downstairs.

Toni and Maria toasted to what was to be their big wedding in a few days. After many months of planning and organizing the big day was finally going to arrive. Their families were very excited and many friends from all over the world were going to be present.

I always recommend couples to disconnect completely a couple of days before. Go to a spa or relax at a beach club. It’s the best way to take your mind off the stress. This time they were lucky enough to have Vanesa from Juliets which undoubtedly is a guarantee that everything will be perfect. As a pre-wedding photographer in Mallorca I was going to try to make sure they had a good time in this photo session.

Can Bordoy Grand House and Garden

We then went to the bar area, which stands out for the mirrors on the ceiling and the blue and green colors of the armchairs and curtains. They are a couple that when they look at each other you can tell they are very much in love. While they finished their glass of cava they made jokes and I even caught them while I was lying on the floor.

From there we went to the bathroom area which is very photogenic because of all the mirrors it has. There are several reflected images and that creates some very original photos. They were both having a great time and for me it was being great as a pre-wedding photographer in Mallorca.

Once we finished at the Can Bordoy Gran House and Garden we all took the car together and drove to a beach area. It was a wonderful day although it was a bit cloudy. They had changed clothes, Toni had a Hawaiian shirt and Maria a printed skirt with a top.

I made them run on the beach and do various things where they had a great time. Toni is also very tall and strong. I didn’t have to tell them much, they were getting used to having the camera in front of them.

It’s usually difficult when you’re first pointed at a camera taking pictures. You don’t know what face or position to put and you think that the photo session will be like that. I however as a pre-wedding photographer in Mallorca I like spontaneity. Moving pictures are the best. It is most likely that between each photo when they are unprepared the best photo will come out.

They climbed on some rocks and enjoyed their moment. Everything was going super well. For each couple I prepare a series of special photos. Each one has their own style and tastes. I always prepare a lot for each pre-wedding session in Mallorca so everything goes fast and easy.

We ended the session happy and looking forward to the day of their Korean wedding at Comassema Mallorca. I thank them for their trust and I hope that when they look at these photos over the years a smile will come to their faces..
